Someone explain this
Was watching this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZzwJqc9Hzg and saw something pretty dang curious. Skip to 1:59 and look at the 'top donators of all time' list.

I might be out of the loop and there could be a logical, justified explanation for it. Anyone wanna chime in on this? Also cba checking to see if this has already been discussed - and if that is the real Dondi then I guess it's his money and he can do w/e he wants with it

People donate on Twitch? Not exactly sure what it is you are asking so I can't exactly comment on what it i i'm supposed to be looking for

Okay, to be more specific; 2:02 in the video, 'TheDondi' donated $4,000 to 'luxxbunny'

So you are concerned about his spending habits? If he wants to throw away money he could be using to improve his own game, that;s his choice. It's a piss poor choice, but the again Dondi is a piss poor person. And I don't mean that he's broke I mean that he is over all just bad

He spent his own money?
dsal Feb 3, 2019 @ 5:42pm
Video is from Sep 16, 2016, Isle released Dec 5, 2015, so clip is from sometime between those two dates. No doubt some of the money he donated was money he'd been donated.

Also he didn't spend his own money, that implies a transaction. But sure, throwing $4,000 at a streamer is totally normal behaviour, why would I question it

Ah, I see. You are not exactly pleased that the money that you donated didn't go into game development... Well why didn't you just say so? Yeah why didn't we catch this sooner? could have held a lynch mob over this and held production hostage with a protest of some sort. Oh well, It's not like I donated a cent to him (not going to until he can be civil in his own stream.) and this was done about a few years ago sooooooo.

Nah, I never donated to the game. And yeah just because it was a couple years ago doesn't mean it shouldn't be brought up. Before anyone says we can't know if part of his donation was money he'd been donated or when exactly he made the donation - I ask, why would someone who can throw away $4,000 just like that be asking for donations? Easier to part with money that ain't yours.

Yeah that does sound very suspicious

Nope, because he doesn't give a damn about his base. He ridicules people who ask him questions about genuine concerns, he insults the mentally disabled as if it's a joke, and tries to justify cyber-bullying more often than not. The kind of behavior that wouldn't fly well on steam yet he's some how allowed to do so as if he's above the rules. I Don't like him, because he doesn't like his own player base.

I get that and understand that.but constantly complaining about him every chance doesn't make you a better person. Its just annoying to see that almost every post you make. Be above the hate he sends out dude. You're really helpful, but I don't want you to be labeled as "that guy"

Thank you... I'll work on that. Still though, I find it rather hard how he is still employed seeing the way he acts on Twitch

So how exactly do I know what? The dates? Self-explanatory. That some of the money he donated was money he'd been donated? Well, I don't know that, but I find it easier to believe that someone would give away money that isn't theirs as opposed to money that is theirs. @Sexual Intellectual

Pretty sure he was taking donations before The Isle released as well.

The money was donated sometime near july 25th since there are reddit posts asking who he is and how he donated so much (I guess it wasnt popular to donate large amounts of money to streamers back then). So no. Its not kickstarter money.
