So you can't share your pornographic pictures with your friends inside your own created private group, because some Discord-Moderator could stumble across, even if your group is private and "invite only"? Sounds like the GeStaPo to me.

Sounds like someone doesn't understand that moderators can inspect private groups on their own platform.

Sound like somebody does not know what "Private Channel" means.

You are supposed to follow Discords TOS regardless of whether the group you are in is public or private.

7) Post content in the correct channels.

8) Don't post someone's personal information without permission.

Well - apparently the moderators don't know their own rules on their own platform.

LOL

When you create your discord account, you agree to all the terms and conditions. Having a private channel doesn't block moderators from accessing it. They are allowed to do what they want.

Think about it this way. If I invite someone into my home, I get to dictate the rules on which you can stay. I don't care what you want me to know or want to keep private, if I don't like it, I can kick you out.

Discord, steam, and practically every gaming platform works the same way. Having a private channel doesn't block moderators from accessing it. Just like in steam how having a private profile doesn't block moderators from seeing it.

I know that mods can see the channels. But I'm reading through all the varios Discord-Channel Rules and they all are about Public Channels which mention NSFW content; as soon as it gets to Private channels, this section is just not there. And just because I use Discord does not mean I "agree". I clicked the button, yeah. Like I care for that.

https://discordapp.com/guidelines

They even mention it. As long as your Channel is labeled NSFW it's okay.

All because it isn't there doesn't mean they can't do it.

"Not properly labeling NSFW channels. Some content just isn't appropriate for kids under 18, so let's do the right thing in our community and label any channel containing adult content as NSFW. This will add an age gate to the channel, protecting those who wish not to see."

Discord doesn't care if you don't agree. Cause if you don't agree, don't use their platform. You must agree to their terms and conditions and thus you can be held liable for punishment if you break those terms or conditions.

That you can upload pornographci pictures and material on your private Channel as long as it's labeled NSFW. So there's no guidline against it as long as it's correctly labeled.

That has got to be the 9th dumbest thing I've read.
