I never got to much into the Pokemon games myself. Kind of liked the anime more.

I understand what you mean. I couldn't get into Pokemon, even if some of them are adorable.
Yeah. : ( Have you tried Pokkén Tournament? I'm thinking about giving a chance to that one since it's just a fighting game and I like those. It should definitely be much more fun than the regular series.

Also there's Detective Pikachu on 3DS. I think it should be fun, if you like detectives. Pika is adorbs there. : )
I find Poken Tournament to be cool. I did not play it much but I did watch online matches in the games online match replay mode and they got intense. I just do not play it much though because I do not have anyone to play it with. And the Nintendo Switch's wifi chip is worse then one in a Wii or 3DS.

My brother really enjoys the online matches. They really require that you think two steps ahead of the opponent.
I remember owning the red, blue and yellow version and was kinda the Messiah for all the kids in the neighborhood.
May i know which Pokémon game are you playing?
Depends on the country.
If you're into turn-based style RPGs and video games where you collect things is how I would best describe it. The formula hasn't changed much though from collecting pocket monsters, leveling them up, beating gym leaders/your rival/the antagonist, and catching the legendary Pokemon. If you weren't really into Pokemon X, I don't think I would recommend getting Let's Go Evee because from what I've seen the gameplay looks even more simplified from the already relatively simple formula. Some games just aren't for everyone.

In my country computers were very rare, let alone 3DS or DS. :o
Kate's old into retro gaming, she's talking about the original Game Boy.

CURSES!
I don’t like Pokemon games at all.
And I only plays the Pokken Tournament.
Depends which experience you’re going for.

The classic adventure free world of the mainstream Pokémon games (Red, Diamond, Black, Sun, ETC)?

The roguelike RPG style gameplay of the Mystery Dungeon series?

The online fighting style of Pokken Tournament?

It all depends on which game you’re playing, you gotta immerse yourself in the story and attach yourself to the characters.

Battle me in Pokemon!
Well... it´s a toy meant for 5 years old. I mean, what´s there to explain?
Maybe it´s just not your thing. Unless you can unleash your inner 5 year old.

It's sort of a dark age in pokémon. You can't travel to town without fear of being attacked by wild pokémon. You have team rocket who robs people and is set after a world war.
