bought a 27 flat

i am still happy with it

curveds are lame, like azza said, they're a marketing gimmick.

its like samsung edges. those were lame. never bothered them. just bought a motorola moto g4 instead which was 220 euro at the time.

but srsly.. 27 inch flat is big..

don't buy a tv screen btw ( they render slower than monitors )

I see this argument all the time over on YouTube. It's strictly a matter of self preferences when it comes to Computer monitors or TV screens. People who have played using both types of screens found it very difficult to tell the difference between the two when playing. It boils down to this if you enjoy playing multi play shooters then get a computer monitor with faster refresh rates. Otherwise single player games on a TV screen are just fine. I myself play on a Samsung Q-Led 4K 65" Curved Smart TV Screen and I love it. Games look spectacular on a 65" curved screen, it's like having a girlfriend with a nice set of jugs, flat just doesn't get it for me, gotta have those curves.

i just use my regular smart screen for gaming 1080p 33 inch though, most gpus can support way higher reso today though. them curved screens are nice if your going 50inch plus
Agreed.
Debated between my Current monitor (25 Flat Viotek) and a 25 Curved Viotek. Curved often have primitive problems like lighting and some cheap ones get really bad reflections. All in all, for the curve, you sacrifice a lot of quality.

If it is for a desktop, resolution matters more than size, as long as it is around 24+ inch

Curved monitors and TVs have to be one of the stupidest gimmicks ever. I have a 32 inch flat. I would not go larger than 28 inches. 28 inches is plenty big.
Yeah, merging multiple monitors, while I personally don't feel the need for, would be better. Investing in one monitor is not a bright idea.
Already changed my mind to get a BenQ 24" 1ms 75hz gaming monitor but thank you all anyway

We're talking about monitors, right?
lol
non-ultrawide curved monitors are not necessary.
