No one is holding a gun to your head and forcing you to play their games.
See how simple that was to resolve?
Pretty much every game has removed it now, you are very late to the party :p
This curator flags all the games that are asset flips, mining on your comp and games that have redshell ect, so you can at least know for future purchases, or games you already have if you want to check the store page for them all.

Anyway, here is a thread, please be sensible and read through it if you want to really bring this discussion back.

your head
If you really want to keep it going I suggest slowing down a bit because at this rate you'll have mods breathing at your back in no time.
YOU are the problem? and this fanboy mentality(?)
1. I guess it depends on your system, but spyware is NOT normal, nor should it be acceptable.
2. By definition, IT IS holding a gun to your head? If this crap is bundled along with a game. Burying permissions in a EULA isn’t much either...
3. And forgive me, if this little feature doesn’t get automatically removed when I uninstall the game… (secondary importance).
Red shell might be benign for now, but it’s isn’t an essential part of the game. Would you still cry when your handing over more data, receiving more adverts, locked into an always online ‘service’ as publishers claim they now can’t possibly do without the advertising revenue???
