Any good grim anime?

I am interested in watching any anime similar to School Live and Made In Abyss.
SIMIAR TO SCHOOL LIVE AND MADE IN ABYSS
An anime show that shows you that it is cute but deadly, Pretty but ugly when you blink
a show that makes you feel safe for a moment and scares you very much in the end.

I'm sorry I wasn't actually in the proper mindset to get going. I might actually recommend monster, Fate Zero, Gantz, Psycho-Pass, Maybe Serial Experiment Lain. If you want a lot of murder and people exploding you could always go with Elfen Lied
