Why some people hate PVP video game?

Dont get me wrong. PvE game is worth it. I played tomb raider and it was good experince.
But.. Why people hate PvP game? (like csgo. LoL , Fortnite) because they are competion?

Because people suck, people take PvP games way too seriously esp when a PvP game has multiple game modes such as casual and comp but people take casual way too seriously and ruin it for everyone or try and tell others how to play. Im good, ill just avoid the hassle and play PvE coop games.

What's your favorite PVE games?

Alot of Killing Floor 2, Payday 2, Vermintide 2, Warframe. When Strange Brigade comes out I will be playing that!

This isnt really PvE only but you can totally avoid conflict with other players, GTA V. I mainly play missions with friends / randoms and avoid getting into gun fights if I can while in a server, unless running supplies etc.

I like PVP games. There hasn't been any i want to play for a long time though.
I do like Overwatch a lot though, it's quick casual fun.

I want that game so much, it's similar to TF2.

KF2 is pretty fun. There's some really stupid people that play it but the more dedicated players are generally pretty cool.

Agreed. While there are some people who steal kills and hoard ammo, most people are willing to share. And when they get all the equipment they need, they usually throw out money during the last few rounds for the people who joined late.

This. People dont play pvp games because theyre bad at them. That, and alongside the fact that PvE games often have a story mode and make you feel like a powerful beast

One time in Counter Strike: Source i accidentally picked up the bomb and got into a gunfight, i lost the gunfight and dropped the bomb in a unsafe area, the whole team was insulting me, and cursing me out (on mics) while we're winning, and our team had more players alive. I kept my cool, didn't respond, but people are so heartless on competitive games.

When you read about people getting kicked for not clutching a 1v5, it kinda makes sure i will never play a competitive game.

What singleplayer game keeps you entertained on the daily? I need that game whatever it is.

Rimworld, Stellaris (not so much anymore), various home brew QSP games, Skyrim (heavily modded because Bethesda games suck as vanilla), empyrion, I could go on but it's rhetorical.

The toxicity is really bad, gotta admit.

I dont get how some people get so offended kver toxicity that they quit the game honestly. Sure, toxicity is annoying (and sometimes funny when a guy on the internet thinks hes tough), but its not that hard to ignore. Like the old saying goes....dont feed the trolls

Yeah it's easily ignorable, but at least for me, it doesn't feel to good when people say negative things to me. I never respond though cuz it's not worth it.

My last MMO has daily PvE limit, and apparently you can expand it by doing PvP dailies. not very big ones, though. One is seems to be 6v6, I'm hesitant to try it. Because... teamwork... ugh...

That's sad, i gotta get a group of friends if i ever do get OW, even that might not cure the toxicity, but it would have a lower chance of happening, and maybe we'd do better.
