that's why you need to use adblock. ublock origin for instance combined with a pop up blocker.

Use ad-blocking software.

You can not talk about emulation on steam.

but what if it's freeware since emulation isn't illegal in that case

I think Daggerfall comes with one of its own now.

Except DOSBox gets a free pass.

Every DOS game you buy on Steam comes with DOSBox preconfigured.

So I'm Not Gonna Get K.O.'ed By A Ban Hammer For Talking 'Bout DOS Since Legal Wise Bethesda Gave Arena and Daggerfall out as freeware so It's legal in that case

Oh, well you can download the installer from that site. I think that's the one I got.
Pretty sure that source forge is in EOL and is shuting down completly soon. Get a old throw away lpatop or desktop, install the program you want on it and if its a virus no big deal. IF its safe you can use a flash drive to transfer it to your main computer and play there.

EDIT: I shuold also mention you can do this off a virtual machine such as oracles virtual box as well.

Use virtual box, but you will need a iso with windows on it to boot with. You can get a windows 10 bootable iso for free of microsofts website if you need one.
