Why do batons have 2 handles?
Maybe the first one is for bashing, and the second one is for thrusting?

If your saying what i think your saying then the second is so the tonfa can be used as a hook/bar/lock.

If your saying what i think your saying then the second is so the tonfa can be used as a hook/bar/lock.
hook is maybe useful, if it would be curvy and thin, but i doubt that the other 2 would work
