Aquaman was pretty much only thing decent from Justice League.
Plus all the girls and bored housewives will storm to drool over Jason Momoa anyway so box office flop is not likely.
preaching to the choir my friend. The Transformers movies have made what nearly 5 billion dollars combined and while they were financially well received they are some of the worst cinematic garbage the world has ever seen. I mean that last Transformers movie made a billion dollars pretty much right off the bat and it was so bad that it killed the franchise. I don't think that movie was a success.
This is what happens when board members create movies. You get a movie that generates revenue very efficiently, but which nobody would want to watch.

The scene in question starts at about 4 minutes and 20 seconds since I can't do timestamp links. And it known point do you not suddenly feel like everything is about to become incredibly Epic. Now don't get me wrong I don't think Michael Bay is a particularly talented director, but he is actually really good at doing epic. It's probably the one thing he's honestly really really good. Other filmmakers actually comment on his particular shooting style as being unique and that they study it because it's really really good. I mean if you really get down to it he's made two of the best buddy cop films in the history of ever went bad boys and Bad Boys 2 and they are both brilliantly shot nonsense. Much like Zack Snyder I think that Michael Bay would be way better utilized as doing the cinematography for film as opposed to directing the important bits, unfortunately the dude is possibly one of the most successful modern directors because he keeps bringing in huge stacks of cash I mean if you were to compare him and James Cameron they're not that distant when it comes to racking up the dollars for a studio except that Michael Bay keeps making movies and James Cameron does whatever it is James Cameron does like go to the bottom of the ocean. Isn't that a disappointing thought. A man that has literally been responsible for the best movies in several franchises and has literally destroyed the box office every time he goes to bat is actually considered as successfully on par as one of Hollywood's most reviled directors.
