How much food can I buy with 50 cents?
See, my stupid wife just ran away to Delaware (I live in Mississippi) with all my money. Thing is, there's litterally nothing left to eat in the kitchen rn because she took all the food with her as well. I did find 50 cents under the table, but I am not getting my paycheck until next Thursday. So with 50 cents, how much food can I buy that will keep me going for at least 3 days? I do make a lot of money, so in 3 days it wont be a problem, but until then, I need help to find what I can buy with that much money. Thanks.

This is not why I’d care to do this but certainly a good reason why separate savings accounts sounds like a good idea. Joint checking, individual savings.

But what do I know, I’m just a 50yr old creature that looks like a mutant baby.

Btw Ramen is like $0.15 apiece.
Nonsense, you have a beautiful soul.
And ramen is like £1.00 here, you lucky, lucky americans.
In some poor country probably much in my country almost nothing.

Uhm if you can get oat flakes cook them with water or if you have more monet for milk heat them up with milk and let them cool down a while

it's cheap, quite healthy and stuffs you a lot for the money

has he starved? :(

Hello this is his son, he died in the cold. A seagull took his 50 cents while he was walking to get ramen and he couldn't afford anything then, so he had to eat a lot of snow, rocks, dirt, and even dead flies.

Christ, no wonder why I kept hearing on how popular it was there in the US.

Over here in Portugal a packet of ramen often goes for 90¢. Cups are usually 1.8€.
Go to a local church...Alot of times they will help, either by donations or food pantries.
50 cents won't buy you nothing these days. [even ramen, and I love the cup ones with the little amount of veggies added!] I could be rich and I'll still have those stocked in my kitchen!
Either that or hit the pawn shop and just get a loan for something, and buy it back in 3 days.
Hell, just ask your neighbor.
I gave one of mine a crap-ton of food when he lost his job.

Go to your local café and ask for a job in return for food.
With 50 cents you could indulgence at your own needs, then after that buy some cheap water balloon and throw those at your wife for bringing all of your cash.
