Worst Toys ever

Most lists only include inappropriate kids toys and never really poorly designed toys, toys that should of been play tested just like our games. so here are some toys that bugged the hell out of me growing up.

BRICKS
Power Ranger and megazords were a mega fail
why? simply, they were bricks
the earliest i had, a MMPR mega zord, the most you could do was rotate the arms... whoop de ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ do, so much fun... not

the lost galaxy zord had rubber horns... ugh wat
and same limited play

Auric the Conqueror
a side character that came and went
and guess what? a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ brick

the legs could go in and out
the arms could come out
but his backside and cape were a hard shell
screw this toy

Warrior Wheel and Pyramidas. same lame design

you would think by the time we had light speed rescue or earlier
we would have better toys
but with trains and a shuttle being a brick. there wasnt much you could do

they only way to get a megazord toy as a nice and decent were a very small selection of only three to look at: the Retrofire, the mini model kits and Kakuranger The New Beast Generals
sadly, those are so small as i said and never lasted long, the same short lived fate as Gundam Kingdom assault and NXEDGE style. a great shame cause i would rather like full articulated action figures over model kits. i hate kits. they really are over priced ♥♥♥♥♥♥ plastic that need painting and gluing.

wast there word that Bandai was gonna make power ranger toys and if so that might mean action figure? who knows
i havint bought a ranger toys in forever for the very reason that they are bricks, but even worse is they are expensive, hard to find and get, and after watching a video. some toys went through for better or worse changes with the zords and combination. parts not included or mission or how to put it together involves sacrificing parts and its original design just to make it work.

back to bricks, knock off toys are very very guilty of this too and added led for no reason


Action figures
it has its own problems

accessories are always nice but the figure alone with nothing makes it boring
my zero figure has three swords, a swoosing sword and two straight beam swords
no beams... why?
so zero from megaman comes in 2 and a half flavors

two reds with details not on the first version
and black
black is red model number 2 and that mean the same pieces
the only way of getting a laser is by getting X or the first zero. thats dumb
i managed to get black zero pretty cheap
the others are expensive

i also have Vile and X
Vile has two cannons... thats not canon to the original design
and his backpack is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ light blue...
the guy is a cold killer in purple armor, why the ♥♥♥♥ did they go with light blue?

90's figures
the ones where the legs spread wide so they cant sit
so if you have a car for them, they cant use it

thats poor design

Gundam universe line
very little extra parts

mega man 66 mm
tiny, lame and the extra parts are lame

Funko? sigma?
like his statue, he is a brick

the ride armor from MMX
bad enough the colors are wrong
but they left the spike arms NAKED!
they didnt bother painting/coloring the arms? WHHHY?
That looks finished? NOOO! take it back and color the arms you left white you lazy jerks

and the market still sells toys like this? WTF

All it could do was move its arms up and down. And individually the zords all looked near identical. The one before it, the ninja megazord was so diverse, giant frog, falcon, crane, bear, wolf, gorilla.


Sure the old metal voltron "megazord" was all made of cats but they all had a lot of extra details and stuff.

It’s a toy, but from a distance, it can load and chamber shells real enough. Nope, nothing disturbing about this whatsoever. lol

Another kind of bad toy, was back when beast wars was a big thing. You had these 3 robots join into one packs.

1 was lion, elephant, eagle

1 was lobster, cicada, and rhino beetle

They were annoying to put together and use. And really only looked good individually, but didn't play well because how they were made so they'd combine. Specially that second one.

A lot of kids got hurt by these things. One of them was a friend of mine in high school who lost an eye after a string broke and sent one of the acrylic balls flying. (The kid playing with them at the time was actually a couple of doors down the street when it happened.)

AFAIK they were banned in a lot of places, but it looks like they're still made/sold.

They look like great toys. I want some for Christmas.
