Why I hate Reddit.
Literally anytime I post something, it gets taken down because of this stupid ♥♥♥ "karma" thing. That is literally such an ignorant feature. I even tried posting a meme in the r/memes saying "I don't always post on Reddit, but when I do, my post gets taken down". And of course, it got taken down as well, proving my point. And then I basically cussed out the mods saying to let me ♥♥♥♥ing post what I want.

Does anyone else have this issue or hate this feature?

Yeah, I did that a few days ago. I'd constantly get ask reddit stuff lol.
You'd expect that after while if a user doesn't log in or do anything, they'd stop.
I usually only like to check meme subs there without an account to see g[re]at [ posts] :P
Damn bro...

Y'know, this reddit talk got me to realize somethin', I should clean out my email.

Y'know, I just realized something else. CS:GO is more interesting than Reddit to me, apparently.
I hate Reddit because it has the worst possible layout with a horrid interface that makes reading and responding to posts just.... ugh.

It boggles my mind how it ever became popular in the first place. Reddit has by far the worst forum (in terms of layout and design) that I've ever seen.
When you respond to someone's post in the best way possible and you're downvoted to hell. Yeah, Reddit is cool, but it's a clusterf--- aswell.

Let's see an example then.

I don't need to. Hop on Reddit and see for yourself how much of a zoo it is.

I've been using Reddit since almost its inception. I don't use it daily or even weekly, but I found it incredibly helpful when learning guitar, when learning a foreign language, and found subs like /r/londonsocialclub incredibly useful when I moved to that city and really needed to meet more people. I went along to meets expecting a bunch of awkward teenagers and early twenty somethings and was confronted with normally functioning working adults in the 25-50 age range. It was quite a surprise.

Usually when someone gets downvoted to oblivion, it's because out of the hundreds of thousands of active subreddits they chose thedonald, pcmasterrace or some other garbage subreddit where trolling is not surprising in the least, or maybe, just maybe, what they said was against the rules of the sub, they sh**posted, or they post ancient content that nobody is interested in.

That's why I'd like to have seen an example.

Well, you're not getting one. Please refer again to my previous post rather than making an attempt to 'gang' around me. Thanks! :)

Not saying this doesn't happen, but i'm yet to personally experience it.

I've been on r/Steam and have a subreddit contributor on there for at least a year now.

Your experience of Reddit will just be determined by which subreddit you use.

I don't venture outside in the wild of Reddit, but when i do, it's hardly downvotes.

Though, i have to say that some users just smash the downvote button if they disagree with you.

That's a bit childish but it makes them feel better, instead of them actually replying to your post / argument.

:cozydbd:
Their Karma system can’t always be wrong.
reddit is a cesspool.

random users can vote down your post so others can't see it, which makes it so your questions and discussions can't get seen, answered and replied to. It's a backwards system and I am shocked how reddit has survived despite running such a toxic system.

you are basically saying you disagree with the way they moderate, and naturally it will be taken down. You should take into account what the meme represents from their point of view, not just your own.
It's better than twitch chat. :caster_happy:. Even i hate i still use it because some information are right. And i like reading forum and some discussion. It's just okay.

yeah game related subreddits are useful for me time to time
I had also a really frustrating experience when i started using reddit
like most subreddits i wanted to post something had a karma requirement

Which is kinda stupid as you need to get posts upvoted to get karma.. but when you're unable to post? how should it work? :D

Got used to it as i commented and posted in smaller groups and now i'm free xD
