Y'know, this reddit talk got me to realize somethin', I should clean out my email.
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1929799099
It boggles my mind how it ever became popular in the first place. Reddit has by far the worst forum (in terms of layout and design) that I've ever seen.
I don't need to. Hop on Reddit and see for yourself how much of a zoo it is.
Well, you're not getting one. Please refer again to my previous post rather than making an attempt to 'gang' around me. Thanks! :)
Not saying this doesn't happen, but i'm yet to personally experience it.
I've been on r/Steam and have a subreddit contributor on there for at least a year now.
Your experience of Reddit will just be determined by which subreddit you use.
I don't venture outside in the wild of Reddit, but when i do, it's hardly downvotes.
Though, i have to say that some users just smash the downvote button if they disagree with you.
That's a bit childish but it makes them feel better, instead of them actually replying to your post / argument.
random users can vote down your post so others can't see it, which makes it so your questions and discussions can't get seen, answered and replied to. It's a backwards system and I am shocked how reddit has survived despite running such a toxic system.
you are basically saying you disagree with the way they moderate, and naturally it will be taken down. You should take into account what the meme represents from their point of view, not just your own.
like most subreddits i wanted to post something had a karma requirement
Which is kinda stupid as you need to get posts upvoted to get karma.. but when you're unable to post? how should it work? :D
Got used to it as i commented and posted in smaller groups and now i'm free xD
