Wolfenstein is a better shooter too me. Doom 2015 is too much 'open world' for me . Don't buy youngblood, tho.

I have played and finished both.
I recommend Wolfenstein. It has a nice story and good single player focused level design.
Doom is good but it has not much of a story. And level design is kinda like multiplayer focusd where you need to always keep running and shooting high speed in a closed arena like space.

Also Wolfenstein has a stealthy mechanic. You need to observe enemy movements and plan your attack.
In doom you need to always keep running high speed non stop...
