We have wild-life like mountain lions, rattlesnakes, bears, wild boars and wolves were just reintroduced into the area.
Although we did have one time when the police raided a large illegal grow in the area. Illegal immigrants were tending the farm and they shot a deputy and shot at everyone else. They had automatic weapons and fled the cops. Incidentally they escaped down the creek that runs behind the house.
We never saw a peep of them, but heck how bad of a situation could that of been, especially in an area where you wouldn't think that type of stuff happens.
not exactly a strong argument in your case
anyways some people are privileged enough to not have to live in constant fear, and your argument doesn't work for them
Lets take those politicians or those figure heads like David Hogg who think as you do, that people don't have to live in fear and thus the world doesn't need guns. Are they protect by police/security/secret service who have guns?

I've already made my core criticisms of your analogy and why it falls apart. If you need to keep arguing you can go back and reread my posts and just pretend I'm still talking to you.
I don't like Combine, so-
Lure a Rollermine- initiate a Rollermine-boosted back hop- hop past these grunts- dodge the fence
Theres the problem in your thoughts and the reason why you should not be allowed to own a gun
Real life is no SHOOTER.
Yo I understand that the fear of crime is one of, if not the primary emotional drivers that makes people purchase firearms. Dat paranoia takes hold and before you know it, you're down at Ammunation perusing WMD's.
It kind of worries me that we have this many people who keep tripping up over the fact that the first person video game challenge is...a....video game challenge....not real life. But it's designed to teach you folks that when it comes to self-defense you at least want to be as equally armed as the bad guy.
Doesn't require good aim. Just point in the general direction of whatever you want to disappear and pull the trigger.
