I'm about to work overtime at the factory to grab an Xbox One Slim that is 1 TB and a good number of exclusive for it. I've been playing Gears 5 and it is yet another subpar port. Its nowhere near as bad as Gears of War 4 was, but it is laggy in areas and actually crashed one time. By default with my rig, I could run it at Medium settings, but I had to put it on Low cause of the glitchy and bad fps. Even then on Low, it can be really bad in areas and the graphics would look better on Xbox One lmao. What is the point ?
I just picked up a Ps4 not long ago and immediately noticed that Dead Rising 2 Remastered looked better on it cause Capcom released half hearted ports to PC as usual. Hell, Dead Rising 4 on PC was a trainwreck.
Anyway, yes you do have to pay for online, but it isn't mandatory if you don't care about online gaming. I'm about to pay $60 for a year of Playstation Now cause I can play Ps2 and Ps3 games through streaming. I have no interest in Xbox Live:Pro or Playstation Plus.
The Xbox One X is actually the most powerful console to date with the Ps4 Pro being second to it. I find the Xbox Slim and Ps4 Slim to be good enough though. I definitely prefer Playstation this gen cause I preferred Xbox last gen cause I was into online gaming then.
Still games that better play on consoles like side scrolling games or platform games maybe nice having a good console also.
I'm not going to abandon PC, but I'm only going to use it for 360 and Ps3 games. I'm unhappy with the PC climate. I'm tired of bad ports constantly and tired of waiting for games for a long time. I don't even care about mods either. To each his own.
I don't plan on picking up a Ps5 or an Xbox Scorpio anytime soon. I just got the Ps4 Slim a few weeks ago with a ton of games and I hope to pick up an Xbox One Slim soon and a handful of exclusives. Mainly so I can property play Gears 4 and 5. I also like how I can get Gears 4 for cheap now and the sealed version includes the codes for Gears of War 1-Judgment on 360. I also really want to play Halo 5 too as that one is exclusively on One.
The Dreamcast was way ahead for its time. Still love that console and still play it today. Even got a sealed one which I bought when they started to discontinue them for when my old one stopped working lol
I’m still impressed with what they achieved with the x and pro so will definitely be getting the next gen consoles
Even got my saves from PSO i still can play character i played for year online on my Dreamcast.
I don't know about you, but those Specs look fishy to me...
I know Sony tries to use Custom Chips, & such...
Here is what sounds fishy to me?
8-Core, 16-thread Zen 2 CPU at 3.2GHz
Looks way too under powered for handling 8K...
Even my 4K Smart TV has an 8 Core CPU built in as it is,
& it doesn't even go beyond 60FPS at 4K...
There is also the fact that, my PC already does 4.0 Ghz,
but your saying the PS5 has 3.2 Ghz...
Lastly, 12 T-Flops is only 2ce the X-Box One X in performance...
The X-Box One X may have been able to handle 60 FPS,
but it wasn't every Game, or maybe it was, I dunno... But
some were saying that it still was not enough for 4K... If
that is true, then that means that PS5 will barely, barely reach
60FPS at 8K... & it won't be as fast as people think it will be...
I don't know, I have not done tests my self... But...
I am looking at a Radeon VII with 8K 16GB VRAM right now,
& a 32 to 64 Core CPU & 32 to 64 DDR4 RAM...
With an M2 Drive for Caching instead of an SSD...
for my Next PC... o_@
Mind you, Navi & Radeon VII GPU's both barely even do 8K at all...
However, who knows? Maybe Sony has a secret weapon up their
sleeves that could pose as jaw dropping results... We will have to see
when the PS5 launches...
No way in hell am i signing up for that console.
