Do you like fish sticks?
I love fish sticks. High Liner fish sticks are the best. I love the texture when I eat them and chew them. They're best served with ketchup.

I've just realised that I don't like fish sticks, probably because I don't know what it's actually made from.

Give me a cooked fish with bones and a head any day and I'll be happy!
Yes they're good with ketchup.

i will only eat it if it comes with sour cream.

Gonna have to try some with sour cream, sounds like it could be tasty.

mind you tho i live in the other side of the earth so things could be different.
School lunch in the mid 1970's was my first introduction to "fish sticks"... basically processed fish meat coated in breading and then baked in large trays in the industrial ovens in our school kitchen. Typically this was always served on Friday's of course and included another interesting product called "Tater Tots" which were small processed potato cylinders. Along with this were typically a vegetable serving such as corn or string beans, a desert item like apple cobbler or canned peaches and then also two condiments for dipping of the fish sticks and tater tots into which consisted of ketchup and tartar sauce. To this very day "Fish Sticks" and "Tater Tots" are sold in the freezer case of virtually any American supermarket.

We got the same dish in our school, from the sound of it.

To this day I still eat tater tots with fish sticks.

Yeah. Weiner Wraps, Burritos and Pizza made with government cheese lol... The cooks also made these things called "Zombies" which where an open faced hamburger bun with ground beef, government cheese and bacon bits all melted in the oven and served fresh. I actually ended up working in the kitchen all four years of high school and the big heavy set female cooks taught me many many cooking skills I use to this day. Believe it or not the main ladies name was "Ms. Tubbs". At first they were really standoffish and mean to me but soon they figured out I was willing and able to learn and they taught me everything they knew. Amazing ladies all of them. After lunch they'd go smoke a bunch of cigarettes lol...
It is a very delicate state of mind.
