Definitely fansubs if officials aren't available. The only dubs I would tolerate are the ones I originally saw dubbed.

Have not and will not ever watch anime. Adults are slowly becoming children as this faze grows.

If you ever do decide to watch an anime, try Mushishi and keep an open mind

And I thought I was the only one who think that. Well age does not equal to maturity
Sub, dub just all sounds the same. Once you get used to reading the subtitles you don't even notice it anymore.

Well then, you've never actually watched a decent anime have you?

A lot of them are far more mature than even "mature" live action shows or movies, and not just in the nudity and violence sense either. There are some incredible, in depth stories out there that you'll never experience because you think they're "just cartoons".

If you want to, give Cowboy Bebop a shot, it's an awesome place to start, and has one of the best stories I've seen in any show.

Nah. Azumanga Daioh and Lucky Star are the best starting points, with the biggest cross section of standard anime tropes.

Also, The Slayers and Ranma 1/2

Subbed over dubbed any day. Not that Asian streaming services dub their animes.

I just noticed Girls und Panzer das Finale part 2 is finally out in fansubs. Not that I ever resort to illegal viewing methods or anything.
I like how the dub studios try to be creative (within the obvious constraints), like when a character speaks with a certain accent and the dub producers try something very similar in the dub. Like an Osakan accent with a stereotypical Texan one. Another favorite example is from “Mai-HiMe”. The academy president speaks with a Kyoto accent but it’s doubled as a Southern-type. Very interesting.

And I like to multi-task, so I like to listen to series as I do something else. Thus another reason to enjoy dubs.

That's one reason why Ranma 1/2 is just as good in English as the original dub. Aside from it not being censored and localized like how so many classics were mangled during the dark ages, giving all the non-Japanese characters hilarious accents was genius.

Also, Ian Corlett's finest role is without a doubt Dr. Tofu. Goku aint got crap.
raw, but i started out on subs., at the moment anime is the only thing on tv worth watching these days.
Dubbed but I don't mind reading while muted.
