Why Are so Many Discord Servers Trash?

It honestly feels like every other one has some sort of illegal activity, or people who have never socialized with a person in real life before. Maybe I am the weird one, though I just find it really hard to interact with people that use words like "uwu, owo" or only talk about memes. There is really just no conversation to be had on servers that advertise themselves.

Steam has no shortage of complete garbage groups as well.

It feels so much easier to get into a discussion though, it just feels like the trash here is so much easier to ignore. But yeah, I get social networks tend to have a lot of garbage.

I only use my own personal discord with friends and I use it to share stuff and talk with friends, any other discord channel i don't care for.

Wanna know something more creepy and annoying than the weebs on Discord, i found with a friend a server that had illegal content (child ..... you get it) and others with adult things. Quite sad least the admin was banned

There are so many teen dating serverd and that is so, so concerning. It's really creepy, and I just hope discord really enforces rules against those servers.

Discord feels so cliquey , I actually hate it. Steam is kinda more open but still far from perfect.

Are you also the same kind of person that complains about having a particular group of friends instead of getting new friends? Cause I participate in tons of servers and - for all the problems they may have - I never see any such issues.

No, I am perfectly fine and happy with my friend group. Also good for you, glad you had a better experience then I.

I just try to find servers for like, communities that arn't fandom related. So many strange communities. I've found some nice one those, just didn't blend in with the people though.
