Question about calories
I know it's pretty stupid question but i eat every day 4 slices of bread with 2 boiled eggs. And question is if i dip these slices of bread in 2 raw eggs and fry that bread, Will calories be similar like with boiled eggs? Should be i guess.

if you do not fry in oil or butter the calories of a PLAIN hard boiled egg, PLAIN fried egg (no oil), PLAIN scrambled egg (no oil, or cream), PLAIN poached egg, etc will all have approximately the exact same calories.

Cooking the egg (with nothing additionally added) does not take away or add significant calories.

Calorie apps sometimes list different egg preparations with different calorie amounts mainly because they are listing calories for the "commonly prepared" ways. That is.. most people make a fried egg w/oil or other lard.. so the calories for "fried egg" are generally listed as higher than a "hard boiled" egg. But if you fry merely on a non-stick pan it would be the same.

ALSO this question should be in Off Topic :P

Well butter and oil have LOADS of calories. Like the calories in the amount of butter you use may be even more calories than the eggs have in them! So people should really be aware of measuring out things like butter and oil, if they care about calories, anyway >_<

So if you are trying to count calories any butter or oil you add to the bread or pan (to fry the bread or egg) will add additional calories to your meal.

If you use less butter on your bread than normal, so you can use some of that on the pan to fry the egg and bread... then the calories would be the same.

If you are adding in more butter, then of course that will make your new meal have more calories.
The 2 eggs are 70 each
Bread is the killer 140 per slice thats whats making you fat up
Sunny side up on sourdough is favorite
A pet peeve is when people talk about "good calories" and "bad calories."

A calorie is a calorie. That is, a well-defined unit of energy equal to a little over 4 joules or .00127 newtons.
