RAID Shadow Legends. I almost memorized the advertisement. ugh

That's why I find it easier to skip. A few "L's" and you're past this nonsense. Meanwhile the little few seconds of pre-video ads feel like an eternity.

I havent seen adds of that game for long time now. I do however have checked out the game, not by playing, just videos.

I cant believe those kind lf games get popular. They're just so incredibly shallow, simple and very much pay go win.

How can games like that have millions of players and high ratings...

Sometimes i wonder why people just use adblock? Sure you might want to support your favorite channel, but most of them allready have sponsors anyway. Unless ofcourse you are watching on phone.

Whenever I see a RAID ad I just instantly click off the video and watch something else.

It's worse than the ads for that awful Game of Thrones browser game.

That's because they're told exactly what to say by the game's publisher. They pay the Youtubers a lot of money to promote it so of course they're going to but it's all lies.

I've seen no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reviews of the game and it isn't like that at all, it's a standard shallow mobile game full of microtransations and gameplay which you can control with one finger.
I doubt most of the Youtubers who promote it even play the damn thing.

Pretty much none of the youtubers play it, you can see it by visiting their clans. Most of the times they have ~0.1h on record.

I was going to say it will hurt their long-term credibility, but considering the popularity of those dumb monetized phone games, I dare say they are in the majority not us.

Depending on how popular a Youtuber is they can get thousands of dollars for a 30 second promotion of a crappy mobile game. There's a few who have spoken out and said they've refused it because they want to keep their cred intact but imagine being paid $5000 or more for doing barely any work. It's tempting so i don't judge any youtubers i like for caving in to it.

It's still a ♥♥♥♥ game though.
