what's the difference between love and lust?
Is love still a thing or lust is the only thing left.

Lust = I want that booty.

Love = I admire the person attached to the booty.

Well put.
How bored you are?

Both are useless.

Lust serves the self.
Love serves the recipient.
Very insightful

Love is meaningful and good for your mental health and for your personality and quality of life, lust is being a slave of the only portion of your body that don't care too much about your own interest and put the interest of the species you belong in front of your own. Better be careful if you don't want to get screwed...

Love is a chemical reaction in your brain that makes you think sex is meaningful.

Lust is a chemical reaction in your brain that makes you think sex is enjoyable.
I am a male. Males do not know the difference. So I cannot answer.

most noticeable (at least for me) difference is that there can be many kinds of love, but lust can only be lust.

most answers in here suggest that it is possible to love lust, and it is true, but love ≠ lust.

in pop culture it is quite common to see peoples say/write/sing things like, "lust for love", and that's basically like saying, "i love lust".

i hope this helps. :gman:

Ah, so simply put. I'll probably use that one day.

Ah gotta love all those chemical reactions, they make me feel so alive! And right now I'm having a chemical reaction that makes me type this post! And now I have a chemical reaction that makes me realize that I'm nothing but chemical reactions, and that thinking that "I figured it all out" is just another chemical reaction.
$CND 400 more ...
There is none.
Love means you want a meaningful relationship with that person and to have them be a meaningful part of your life

Lust means you just want to do the do with them and literally nothing else matters
Compare and contrast the definitions of both words and you should be able to find an answer.
