Why are so many games' startup sound so LOUD ?
I've noticed it in a lot of different games, and I was wondering if there's a particular reason why that is? (noticed in Forza Horizon 4, csgo, civilization 6, and others...)

Volume control. Startup movies are usually exempt from in-game sliders.

What do you mean by loud? Usually it's not louder than a song you'd stream on Spotify at the same volume.
But oftentimes volume settings from the game menu don't apply to the startup sounds because those settings are loaded after that.

Can't they do anything to make the volume of the startup more quiet on purpose, so that it ends up being normal volume?

For Borderlands 1, 2, and TPS, before they finally changed it with the recent remaster.

I was so happy when they got rid of the noisy splash screens.
