Casting PC Screen To Projector
Hello, before explaining my question, let me tell you my setup so that you have an idea of what I'm working with.

I have a PC connected to a regular monitor and across the room there is my projector, Xbox One X, and my Google Chomecast.

What I would like to do is get my PC's screen on the projector without having to use an HDMI cable. I first thought of using my Chorme Cast, but my projector does not come with built in Wi-Fi, so I am assuming that that idea wont work. Then I thought about my Xbox. That has built in Wi-Fi, there should be no reason why I shouldn't be able to cast my screen to the projector through the Xbox. However, I have no idea how I would do so. I know certain applications allow you to do some things such as cast a video or something, but I do not want that. I want to be able to cast my whole desktop so that I can play something like Arma 3 on my PC and see it on the projector.

If it comes down to it, I COULD just use an HDMI cable, but that would mean I would have to route it under the carpet and that is just a big hassle (plus I don't wanna buy a 50 foot HDMI cable lol)

So, what do you guys think?

If I scrounged around I could probably find a Wi-Fi dongle that could hook up to the projector, do you guys think if I did that then plugged in the Chrome Cast that I could stream/cast my screen to the projector without any delay or stuttering?
