It all started with the moon looking fake as ♥♥♥♥, it's a hologram

Op can study those Chinese pictures from the moon.

Volume is not really a thing when it comes to physics and we just proven that "something" must be solid in order to be be their.

Photons have no rest mass and no volume. They exist in only two dimensions: frequency and amplitude.

exactly so how can a hologram interact with a solid object?.
like the "Conspiracy Theory" claims.

I posted this link waaaay earlier in the thread. Maybe read it?

Edit: this isn't the same as saying The Moon is a NASA hologram. This is a subset of String Theory where the whole universe is a projected hologram and the actual objects are 2-dimensional and exist on the horizon of the universe.

the HP, is more about the black hole information problem it have basic nothing to do with a "hologram".

From the link posted:
The holographic principle states that the entropy of ordinary mass (not just black holes) is also proportional to surface area and not volume; that volume itself is illusory and the universe is really a hologram which is isomorphic to the information "inscribed" on the surface of its boundary.[11]

I can live with that, but that still have nothing to do with "hologram" or the universe is "a hologram" it basic say's that the information is coded on it's a surface for instance of a blackhole so that the information do not get destroyed which QM not allow. so it's more a hack in physics then actual science.

It's saying there's no such thing as volume, that said volume is a holographic illusion. It says so right up there ^^.

Let me help you with the introductory sentence so we are on the same page:
_________________________________________________________________________
The holographic principle is a tenet of string theories and a supposed property of quantum gravity that states that the description of a volume of space can be thought of as encoded on a lower-dimensional boundary to the region
_________________________________________________________________________

Where it says 'lower-dimensional boundary' you should understand that as '2 dimensions', or one less than our perceived 3. The 3rd would in this theory be illusionary...ie holographic.

I dont think op understand the logistic nightmare it would be to have a holographphic moon. even with recent tech. and even so in what end?

All particles are just a combination of information. Certain mass, velocity, atomic weight, a collection of gravitic force vectors, resonant frequency, specific heat, angle of deflection on the most recent collision/wave interaction, etc. This is the foundation of quantum mechanics.

Black hole information problem is asking whether any or all of that information will be preserved after the black hole singularity, which is important because a holographic universe implies that the universe will repeat same-or-similar circumstances indefinitely. Like a record on repeat or something.

As for holograms interacting, photons interact with eachother just fine. Similar to how they react with us just fine, as literally all mass-energy can be mathematically described as both a wave and a particle without any loss of consistency.

As a simple way to test this, the next time oncoming traffic is blinding you with their brights just turn your brights on as well. It won't be anywhere near as blinding, as the photons your headlights are putting out will deflect the others in a wave interaction.

Quantum mechanics is mostly formulated around analyzing wave interactions and the information systems they construct.

oh also it's possible that we're a 3d or 4d projection of a 4d or 5d 'block' of matter. Very, very vaguely similar to electrical impulses in a cpu. I think this interpretation is more popular.

Entanglement certainly makes a lot more sense if you add just one more dimension.

Quantum physics is weird. String theory is crazy, but it has some honest-to-goodness simple explanations for a lot of the problems QM presents.

if EVERYTHING is a hologram, then it doesn't matter does it?

i mean, if we can just reassign somebody's variables to turn them from broken to fixed it's kind of important that we figure that out.

no point messing around with all this diagnostic crap if we can just unzip people and run a checksum, then reupload safe copies of corrupted files.

So what was NASA prior to its creation centuries gone by, Torchwood.

I think string theory is at least partly correct, but the original development was hindered by only considering particle physics and some of the assumptions made directly contradict observable quantum phenomena.

There was an attempt made at QM String Theory, but they made some even-more-questionable assumptions in order to circumvent concepts like carrier waves, hidden variables, or other spooky ideas.

I got the sense this was done to make the theory more agreeable to particle frameworks, and also to differentiate itself from competing theories, and now the entire idea of a QM/string hybrid is limited by that existing framework.

String Theory: Everything is tied together with never ending ravel's of string.

If you don't like my theory you can get knotted.
