Because some people consider music to be music if there's vocals in it. If there isn't any it's just noise. Not my words mind you, but that's what some of my friends tell me.
it's not just what you hear , it's also the freaking vibration that you can feel.
Edit: autocorrect
theres a fine line between loud bass and still hearing the voice aka tremble and bass, to just being a person who thinks loud bass is good which isnt.
but yeah low bass isnt good for music nor games depending on game and song.
i personally hate when people blast their horrible music in their car at 1am in the morning
now bass boosted where the audio is peaking yeah ill never understand that one
It just feels good.
Not easy to achieve, but not blasting the lows (or even not using the EQ at all) can help tremendously.
Some music is meant to be boosted like that, though.
