What are some words or phrases that you've grown tired of hearing people say over the years?

Maybe you hear 3 or 4 people say it every day or you know someone who has a habit of implementing the same word into every other sentence.

This is a place to let that be known.

I don't like the phrase "it is what it is" and the word legitimate kind of gets me sometimes, someone I know uses it constantly.

I was being a bit tongue-in-cheek, though.

I understand full well that the term "-phobic" has been hijacked to reference and demonize people with any objection, even reasoned, to any particular ideology. There are real phobias, such as of spiders, heights, or crowds -- and there are reasoned objections to ideologies -- and they are not synonymous. It's just another highjacked word for social engineers to use to their benefit when applied to the latter.

I don't mind it in forums. Sometimes that's a perfect response.

I don't like it in real life. Same with "fam". I'd rather be called "dude" than bruh, brah (90s potheads) or fam.

I'm the same with crowds. I used to party in downtown Boston on NYE and Independence Day, go to large venues, packed clubs. I can't deal with crowds any more -- sensory overload to the point of automatic "flight" panic response.
