As for OP’s question, expect all controllers to be forced to emulate DualShock signals. Not sure about the delay as it’s a service I’ve no use for.
I haven't used the Steam Controller with PS Now, so I can't comment on how well it would work on that.
As far as wifi goes, you really need good internet speeds to even consider trying it. I highly recommend hooking it up to ethernet. Minimal input lag and great visuals when I did that.

Very bad input delay and general streaming issues, and my connection is usually pretty good. I have no problems gamesharing or streaming things via other platforms but PSnow was extremely bad quality
yes i got a ps4 but dont play on it no more i been converted to the church of steam now excuse me im gonna play trains on transport fever 2 :) hugs to u and merry christmas
