PS Now on PC
So I'm getting pretty tired of people telling me I need to play God of War, and since PS Now is available on PC now I'd like to give it a shot, I just have some questions for the people that have tried it.

1. How bad is the delay? Does it happen often, is this something that can be used over WiFi or would you recommend a cable connection?
2. Which controllers can you use more specifically? Cause Sony only says other third party controllers are supported, but didn't mention which. I'm asking this because I don't have a DualShock4 or Xbox One Controller, I have a Steam Controller that I use daily for my gaming needs and lots of Xbox 360 controllers. Would either one of those work with PS Now?

Thanks!

Last I heard, console discussions are not prohibited on OT.

As for OP’s question, expect all controllers to be forced to emulate DualShock signals. Not sure about the delay as it’s a service I’ve no use for.

Most of the "good" pc games are on consoles as well so this doesnt make alot of sense

For controllers, it's recommended that you use a PS4 controller. Some games use the PS4's touchpad and gyroscope for gimmicks, and there's no other way of emulating it.

I haven't used the Steam Controller with PS Now, so I can't comment on how well it would work on that.

As far as wifi goes, you really need good internet speeds to even consider trying it. I highly recommend hooking it up to ethernet. Minimal input lag and great visuals when I did that.

Personally i dont know how controller schemes work but i think xbox 360 controller should work im not sure if you can open the map thing by pressing the touch-pad with a 360 controller
edit you can still can still access the map by opening the journal with the up button

just a note God of war (latest) is leaving psnow jan 2nd, its pretty good though if you have fast net plays "about" as responsive as a console

i have played about 50 hours of psnow and only had 2 minutes of really bad lag total, and that was mostly steam deciding to patch a game :P

nice

I tried PSNow before on my PS4 back when it worked and the experience was horrible

Very bad input delay and general streaming issues, and my connection is usually pretty good. I have no problems gamesharing or streaming things via other platforms but PSnow was extremely bad quality
