I'm of the opinion that exclusivity is NOT healthy for the gaming community, and the Epic Games store making certain games EGS-exclusive is slimy at best and actively damaging to the gaming community at worst. There were plently of games that I was at least curious to try out until I found out they were Epic Games store exclusive. Borderlands 3, World War Z, Untitled Goose Game. I resorted to getting these games on console to experience them.
On top of that, there's no option to review and read reviews of games on the store. I depend on Steam reviews pretty heavily to make my decision to purchase a game, so to hear that the Epic games store doesn't have it's own equivalent puts a bad taste in my mouth.
you never intended to send Requests to...
That is also I have issues with...
I just hope the next Holiday sale they offer the same deal as before. The free games also help out.
It's probably their only Game... No?
No. :))
Even better, I don't want to be told that I have an Epic account by failed login attempts because someone used one of my e-mails to make it, and they had no e-mail verification to let me know that an account was created!
So I basically had to take control of the account (seeing as I had control of my mail - that wasn't compromised), tell the Epic folks that they should delete that account right now, and then looked into what authority I can report that to that could force them to implement e-mail verification.
I played the Alpha and it was very enjoyable. Far better than whatever Quake Champions was trying to go for.
