i change my name and picture whenever i feel like it, thats the great thing about steam , right now i play zelda ss and botw ( the first is my first replaying since 6 years , the other is my first playthrough

if i decide to change my username and picture to mipha ( or Midna (or a skyward sword character ) , i can just do that , without any extra cost , or not being able to change the name and picture again until months later ( i think uplay has a quite long cooldown )

thats imo a big plus over consoles where you have to pay money to change it , or in the case of playstation , not being able to change names at all

i also dont do it to confuse people into not knowing who i am , im simply not a fan of having to stick with a username you chose when you were younger forever

Because I am never satisfied for long. Plus, it's good to change it up now and then. Variety is the spice of life, as they say.

I've always stuck with the same username because I can't come up with anything better.

As for the profile picture, I've never seen the need to change it. I like the look of it.

I change my picture here and there mostly because I find images I like better.

Usernames are rare. Mostly if I end up liking a character more than the current one.

I used to change my name a lot but not anymore, I only change it slightly for events or birthday.

Avatar however I try to go with the theme of the current holiday or just use whatever.
