MP4 to GIF converter? (Offline)
Hi, my PC has been offline since the end of August. If you wanna know why, read my profile.

Anyways, I still play games now and then, and I use shadowplay to save the best moments. My hard drive is filling up with videos, and I'd like a way to convert <10s MP4 clips into Gifs.

Back when I had net, I used to just upload it to a online converter, but that is out of the question now.

I'm looking for a program that can do this for me, offline, with as much customizability as possible. I could download it in library wifi and get it on my PC via flashdrive.

Have you ever come across such a program, preferably free to use?

So "ffmpeg" has been recommended to me, I got it today and tried to convert a short clip, but I seem to be much too stupid to do anything with it, since it's a command console and you'd need to know exactly what you're doing. Is there really no easier way to do it?

I'm looking at it. It's a variety of video formats, but I don't see gif in the profile list.
