People with anonymity tend to remove social inhibitions since there are often no consequences.
Its even rude to suggest its rude, that your victimising a minority and committing defamation based on your own self regulated acumen that is derived from an installed construct of social expectation.
That and Youtube comments aren't generally moderated like they are on forums, so it gets a little more intense at times.
Name calling isn't harassment, it's name calling. Even if somebody is being bothersome, go so somewhere else, a choice you don't always have in the real world as overpopulation etc means everybody is in each others faces the whole time.
One man's rude is another's common social interaction. Up here where I am a certain C word is used like it means nothing at all, yet in other places it'd draw a gasp of outrage.
How so as an opinion is an opinion, there is no whole other thing about it except the barriers we create. The most telling conrnerstone of knowing your a victim of a social construct/norm, is the knee jerk reaction to ostracize, label deviant, to market one as less than, undeserving of the others.
Its strange to say because thats just what the person we are putting a barrier up against is doing so how does one end up in the same ball park. Its a feedback loop, thats how.
Most people don't bother.
On the Internet, blocking someone is easy. If they try to circumvent that block, that’s when it starts sliding into “harassment” territory.
At least the people in the YouTube comments aren't trying to fleece you out of your money.
You find some of the most "special" people in the YT comments section.
