Denuvo relies on an authentication ticket. Without being online during an unspecified periodic check-in, there is no ticket to verify meaning the game is unplayable even for legitimate users.
Pirates bypass this entirely. Meaning pirates get the superior product.
Is that why you posted this thread on Crackwatch?
Pirates get Denuvo plus the buggy cracked code on top.
It's like a Crackwatch sausage party here.
Simple as this
This should be posten on flashback.
Undrar om Dux tar knark.
So simple, it's like a 12 year old wrote it.
Yeah, I posted it on CrackWatch because for some reason, it's important enough to warrant a disclaimer on the Steam page but you can't post about DRM on /r/pcgaming.
I don't pirate games but I still applaud every bypass because there's a good chance I'll be relying on those bypasses one day just like I rely on the GFWL removal crack that is pinned at the top of the Fallout 3 discussion board because Bethesda didn't bother to remove it in their game that sold millions.
Not exaggerating, they literally have a crack pinned on the Steam Discussion board over there

Blame the mods for equating preservation concerns to piracy. As I said earlier, if I can't trust these guys to take concerns seriously, why should I trust them to patch it out when the authentication servers inevitably go down?
Yep.
There are some stories/rumors of it burning out your hard-drive, however I've not had this experience myself, but I've seen the gameplay getting tanked because of Denuvo which whilst it's meant to be a anti-piracy software, it's been cracked multiple times. I'm surprised anyone is stupid enough to use it anymore.
Sadly the devs have lost a sale from me due to this idiocy.
Have a problem with DRM all you want but once you start supporting piracy on encouraging pirates to bombard a thread you lose all credibility.
Plus you are wrong, the stickied post didn't call anti Denuvo guys pirates.
Wow. Not only we have troll denuvo defenders, now we also get troll dev denuvo defender/straight anti consumer dev. You are are the type of people the game/community is better without.
I'm not supporting piracy. I'm advocating for a DRM-free release and highlighting these developer's insane behavior the only place where people seem to understand the issue.
this was not a answer, just some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Doing so on Crackwatch was the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ way of doing it.
"I hate the security systems in shops. Whilst reading a thread on Walmart's forums one of the staff members tagged a post that was negative towards people who are against shop security systems.
So what did I do. I went to the "Shoplifting is great" subreddit and told them."
