Kylo Ren vs Darth Vader
https://youtu.be/owrmLeX20CY

Who would win? Kylo is younger and similar to Anakin but lacks the same training while Vader is old.

I wonder why Rey was so strong initially. Is it plot device?

Probably not. But maybe it will be explained in Episode 9, although I'm doubtful.

The Force was always a plot device.
Vader, simply because he was hard core...

Kylo Ren? He's gotta be a push over, ~_~

Vader was beat by Luke, & Kylo was trained by Luke,
but look at it like this?

Vader fought Luke in his early life when Luke was at his best...
Kylo Ren fought luke in his later years...

Vader had a Death Star, & Star Destroyers...
What did Kylo Ren have? lOl...

a Light Sword? o_@

---------------------------

My bet is on Vader for the Win...

As much lore Disney had put into the Movies, i'd much rather
prefer Lucus lore more... But from what i've read of the later stories so far,
i'd have to say, Episode VII was not horribly bad, but Disney had made
mistake after mistake, & they didn't even bother to fix them...

Those 3 Movies need polishing up, & clean up work, can't fix Leia,
but even the first 3 Movies were better, & not many people liked those
first 3 Movies... Everyone has to agree 4-6 were the best Movies so far...

---------------------

1.) Light Sabers are not Swords, get rid of the Hilt, plus that Hilt looks
Dangerous to be wielding around, there is no protection on it...
Things like this makes you curious, I dun think Disney understands the
Star Wars Lore well?

2.) Episode 8 would of been perfectly fine the way it was
if Leia was not treated in the way she was... Keeping her alive
just to show Force Powers she never used, but we all know she had,
& for a last min speech, was not a good way to end a movie, when
you had a much younger star who could still be in the movie if ya
hadn't killed her off so early to make these events happen... Mistake #2...

3.) Killing off Han Solo, & & then later killing off Luke, only to
later have all the Villains & Han & Luke come back in the End? WHAT? O_@
Unless their spirits like in the previous Movies, I dun get the logic behind this,
none of the previous Movies did this, why in the last final movie, it
is not needed? o_@
Yup,

Why?

Because he made a Darth doody, jk, lOl...

Oh, srry, wrong Movie...

Darth Vader. No contest.

Ren beat Snoke and he will possibly beat Palpatine in the new films.

Ren also beat the entire Jedi temple.

Ren wins in raw strength and potential because he is similar to Anakin while Vader would have to fight with his experience.

Remember, Ren can freeze a blaster bolt while Vader has not seen to be able to do that.

I mean, Rey was able to dust Elite Guards, so why would Kylo lose then. What even makes sense there.

In the movies they had this reason.

Because there where so few Jedis around the Force would put all of it's power into the few Jedis that are around. So that is why Rey is so powerful in the last movies because she is basically the last one. With the exception of all of those force sensitive kids.

This was also a way the force used to balance the power.

In a way it makes sense but it also just sounds like something they did to make Rey powerful.
Vader owns everybody.
Hayden Christensen vs. Adam Driver.

We all lose.
Kylo Ren's first major rival (as we know it for now) was Rey, and Vader had quite the opponents to beat.

He can stop them with hands and be completely uninfected

Eh? Where in the movies did they say that?
