I kinda feel like Tyson was too proud to take a beating, so they had to direct that scene as even match. I don't know if that's true, but i just have a feeling.

Tyson was playing, he would have been able to give Donnie Yen concussion with a few punches if it was a real fight.

Even a middleweight boxer beats the "Wing Chun" master with one hand behind his back in this video.

Tyson had the power to knock out professional boxers that were twice the size of Donnie Yen. The reason Donnie Yen is great in the films is because it is marital arts and stunt choreography which Donnie Yen is much more experienced in but I'm a real fight, it would be lights out for Donnie Yen.

As for the original question posted, most movie fight scenes are Hollywood style again but there are some films and shows that have excellent scenes.

Check out the film Warrior starring Tom Hardy and Marvel's Netflix The Punisher.
