No Origin Access Premier Free Trial? (kind of scummy?)

Is there no free trial for Origin Access Premier? I was kind of misled on console when I started a month trial of EA access which I thought was the same thing. Apparently not... Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order has the EA access tag on console which usually means it's included with a membership. I mean, that's what it means for plenty of other games on there. Nope... It means you get a meaningless 10% discount. Then I discovered Fallen Order IS included with a Origin Access Premier subscription over on PC, which has no free trial I can see. Not a big deal, just felt a bit swindled when I thought I could play the game this month. Maybe a little salty though if I'm being honest. Hell, there was no money even involved so I can't really be mad. Just don't get fooled like me kids.

Just because there's no free trial doesn't make it scummy. There are other similar services that don't offer free trials, and yet they don't seem scummy.

Free was only for Basic. Of course their new PC title will be locked out unless you have Premier.

Not sure why you're opting to a monthly service rather than just buying the game on its own

Because it's free for a month. Which is plenty of time to play and complete multiple games before canceling...

I mean, i'd rather just have a game forever and be free to go through it at my own leisure and see everything instead of having a ticking clock slowly going down in my head as i play

If you could try a game out for a month with the option to buy it later always available to you, how in any way is that not better than spending 60 dollars on a game only to realize you don't like it?

I got Basic free for a month without opting in. It was given to people that added 2FA to their account.

No waiting for the 30 day deadline either.

You have one day to refund a game on Origin once you launch it.. I'd rather have a month to make that decision. And oh yeah, I spent no money.

Pay the $15 a month then. $15 a month is still better than $60 to buy the game if you can complete it in a month.
