How to watch movies on laptop while lying on bed looking up
I can't figure any position for me to use a laptop on a bed for a prolonged time without inducing pain to my joints or blocking the fan hole

A position on a bed that is rather okay to me is lying down and looking up at the ceiling
How, can I position my laptop pointing downwards while I'm looking at the screen from below

Is there any possible setups for me to do this?

Ps, the ceiling is quite high and unreachable, so no... I can't tape it to the ceiling

I have a wall mounted monitor for just this. A laptop is not recommended.

Get a big box. Cut a hole in the top of it for your laptop and put the box on your head.

Screwdrive the laptop into the wall or make a holder where you can put the laptop inside on the wall.

Hold the laptop with your hands above you.
Or if you need free hands, press play throw the laptop in the air and hope movie will end before laptop will fall back. :P

Get a headset that a smartphone sits in, then use the Steam Link app to stream your laptop to your smart phone.

Projector reduces the quality and I don't have a projector on hand for the time being

Not a fan of boxes (still makes it uncomfortable, even though it solved the question )and the spectacles would distort the view and makes me feel uneasy

Ladder?
When it is unreachable, it is far
and when it is far, how'd you expect me to see much from a laptop screen?
and even if the ceiling that close
I'd never attach my laptop to the ceiling

If you have a TV in your room, get a HDMI cable and put the display from your laptop on the TV.

There's some pretty tall ladders. I had to climb such a ladder to reach the ceiling of a multipurpose room at a school to change out the lights. Was probably a 25+ foot ladder.

I didn't say anything about your laptop. I did say mount a tv to the ceiling. Just how high is this ceiling in your room anyway? Mine is probably only 10'. I can touch it if I stretch up a bit.
