Gonna get a lot of hate but, Why does everyone hate Fortnite

I see a lot of people hate the game just for the sake of hating it. I know it is not everyone's cup of tea but I see people who haven't touched the genre who say it is the "worst game of all time" or the "cringe is too strong". I like the game in my opinion but yours can differ and I respect that.

Coming from someone who really likes PUBG, and genuinely dislikes Fortnite except for when certain people play it, here's a few reasons

1. It's a corny-ass game in terms of graphics, items, and focuses too much on the dance ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
2. The dances are also very corny and nearly all of them require very low skill in terms of dancing. Plus, they literally bite moves and then rename them without giving any credit to the original creators or users of the move, or just outright use the wrong name of a dance move without doing research.
3. The fanbase is... garbage, for lack of a better word. Even compared to the PUBG fanbase, it's much more filled with young children and teenagers who don't act like teenagers. And they also do these dances or make cringey references in public which are very embarassing.
4. Leading on from that, it's overrated. I know that's a word people use just because they don't like something, but it really is. Most people in the fanbase don't really accept any criticisms of the game and screech, heiling it as the best game ever or best BR game ever.
5. It's everywhere, and it's sickening to hear of it in places where it isn't even relevant.

Eh it’s more the community as opposed to the game itself. I prefer PUBG gamewise but Fortnite is quite an interesting game.

It’s just...the people...it hurts.

I love playing it with my brother. It's always better with him. I don't really play it much by myself, but it's a okay game to pass the time.

i dont play it , the reason i hate it is because its just a stupid minecraft clone nothing else , minecraft had hungergames before , and imo hunger games doesnt work with guns , in minecraft as long as you kept your distance to others you were save , the start also always was the same , not jump down somewhere and pray
also if you die in br games , its over , thats just not something i would play for hours , you cant get better at it like you can with TF2

The types of people that generally play those types of games tend to be more toxic than usual. Plus I just don't really give a crap about those types of games, they seem all but pointless to me. So I don't really hate it, I just don't see a point in it.
