Thoughts on MGTOW? (Men Going Their Own Way)
As described: "MGTOW - Men Going Their Own Way - is a statement of self-ownership, where the modern man preserves and protects his own sovereignty above all else. It is the manifestation of one word: "No". Ejecting silly preconceptions and cultural definitions of what a man is. Looking to no one else for social cues. Refusing to bow, serve and kneel for the opportunity to be treated like a disposable utility. And, living according to his own best interests in a world which would rather he didn't."

Some think it's the only hope for men in a deeply feminized society. What are your thoughts?

Meh. They are free to choose the life they want to live. Some views I can sympathize with, others I don't care much about. As far as I am aware, they aren't hurting anyone so let them be.

I do believe a lot of the flak they take are from the feminists and their male-allies who for whatever reason may see them as an enemy and I also think a lot of the flak they take is from other people who don't really understand why those men are going their own way. I suppose it is easier to dislike the different than to understand them.

Well, technically it's "King Sam". But he is really big, even bigger than many other norwegian forest cats. So it turned into Big Sam.

Seems more like a childish reaction to what some people think feminism is?

In my mind, feminism is simply a desire to live in a more equal society, where men and women have the same opportunities to live their lives, work hard and prosper. I consider myself a feminist for that reason.

Alan Alda was the first man to be called a feminist, that I know of, and I figured he seemed like a pretty decent guy? Many of the women I've known and loved were feminists too...I'm guessing that's probably why we got along so well?

These people who think feminism is some kind of threat to them, are idiots. From my perspective, it's just a reaction against the erosion of their imagined entitlements.

If that was all there was to it, we wouldn't be talking about "waves". It'd be a pretty monolithic movement. Which it's not.

There is a difference between having sex with a monogamous and loving partner compared to promiscuity with multiple partners or having sex with strangers.

But this topic is full od BS, what are we talking about "feminized society" its however you want to take it.
There is a "modern man" who goes his own way and knows what he wants and what he is after for. Thent there is this "modern woman" who know what she want and what she is after for. So where's the problem?
