terminator salvation install bug

so because im an idiot apparently, i bought terminator salvation (game not movie) on amazon, and it just arrived today. i guess is a german retail copy but i dont believe thats the issue. when i install it it throws up a "wrong disc inserted" error. i did a little research and its a common issue but i couldnt find a fix beyond torrenting the game. and even then some who pirated the game had the same issue. if anyone has any ideas id appreciate it.

CPU: AMD Fx 8370 4.3 ghz
GPU: AMD R9 390 8 gb
RAM: 16 gb

Do you have a flash drive or more than 1 hard drive maybe it's the same drive letter

i have three drives yes, two 1 tb hdd and a 250 gb ssd

Does the disc reads and shows drive letter? If so try autoplay on it after it says wrong disc , also make sure letters are different for them

i did end up getting it to work with a really odd patch that sketched me out but it did work

Had to use a crack but honestly it wasn’t worth it game sucks. I don’t remember what crack I used.

Unfortunately the only way to get the game to work with a disk copy is to crack it. The physical disks simply don’t work anymore. I’m not going to share the file I used to fix it but it was easy enough to find I’m sure any interested parties could figure it out without my help.

I understand fully. Unfortunately, due to developer or publisher (likely both) oversight/laziness the disk version of the game does not work legitimately. If it did I would have used a legitimate means of fixing. If they want to play the game legitimately the only way to do so is to buy digitally. However it is unfair to those who bought the game physically to have to rebuy because the developer is incompetent and failed to provide the necessary files to facilitate play on the disk. If this is a ban-able offense, then please, by all means, report me and I’ll accept my fate.
