What are great websites to share your gaming screenshots?
I have a hobby to take screenshots in-game and I would like to know other ways of getting more people to view them. I already have Flickr. Any other websites?

P.S: Is there money in this hobby?

highly doubt theres money in it , as anyone can go to the spot you took a pretty screenshot at ( like at the beginning of the boat ride in altissia )

most real world photos can be worth something if its something many couldnt just take themselves

What if I put my steam name on the photos? Or maybe you can't make money anyway because you don't own the video game you took the photo in? Anyhow. Thanks for commenting.

I also doubt there is money in it unless perhaps you started your own website and had ads alongside the screenshots or on the pages of the website.

There are some game specific ones too like World of Trucks for both Euro Truck Sim 2 and American Truck Sim.

You could post them on your Steam group or some specific Steam groups like streamers that play that specific game on a regular basis, sometimes they have a share your screenshots discussion page.

Lastly you can instagram them or tweet them too.

even if you put your steam name on it , a game is something everyone can just buy and play

take this for example, anyone can play up to that point in the game and just take the exact same screenshot

as long as your game isnt modded with something you made yourself , any screenshot can be replicated

even if you put your name on it, someone can just locate the place you took it and take another one himself , without copying yours

this screenshot for example automatically gets made when you complete the lightning god mission ,almost everyone has that , and thats the case for any screenshot

I am not talking about cinematic screenshots. There is no creativity or knowledge in these. I am talking about your own screenshots in game. You can't replicate these photos; especially when they are not static. I also take panoramas using editing software. No F12.

if its a place in the game, it can always be replicated , even in a random generated game like minecraft someone can happen to get the same seed , and take the same screenshot on the peak of a mountain

someone could just take panoramas with an editing software as well

This went off track unfortunately. It's like saying there's no point in buying an artwork cause you can just paint it yourself. Happy new year.

You can though?

If one person can do something, someone can do something nearly exactly the same.
I'm not trying to ♥♥♥♥ over what you want to do, just that there really isn't any point in selling game screenshots for money.
Plus, it's not hard to have those screenshots copied by other people, or even have your watermark removed / cropped out, and claimed as their own.
And not that many people would care, because it's a game screenshot.

If you enjoy creating artwork / screenshots of games, you do it. Enjoy it, don't let anyone tell you it's stupid. If you're enjoying it that's all that matters.
BUT, don't think you can make money off things like that in todays day and age; maybe if you had people that were willing to donate, but it's a pointless effort.

Thanks. I will stick to Flickr and Steam, but maybe there is more websites out there.
how about the 'hub showing you playing your waifu games?

Check deadendthrills.com and see if any of you who owns the games can replicate the screenshot. While video game photography isnt as sophisticated as real life photography there is still a skill involved especially with games that doesn't include photo mode. But I do agree. I don't think there's money on it unless you make a site of your own and include ads.

You can just put them on Steam. I promise, I will not make weird comments on them, unless you want me to.

Screensnipe.com lets you upload and share high resolution gaming screenshots. They also don't compress the images.

As you don't own the game, you'd have to have permission from the publishers to monetize.
