also, not seen anything below 60fps with the 2080ti and 9900k, though id guess super crazy games like wildlands and kingdom come would change that, perhaps your 4k tv wasnt as good ?
My TV was very good, I don’t buy anything that isn’t good, but compared to my XB271HK 4K G-SYNC 4ms IPS monitor, it doesn’t matter how good my TV was, the XB271HK is on another level.
Wrong. I game on a sony bravia tv 40" and use keyboard and mouse for all games from racing to tps to fps and have 0 input lag. Infact that is mostly what my games are, are tps and fps. And i have 0 Yes 0 input lag. When i hit my mouse button to shoot it shoots right then and there no ms lag at all. Sorry but your not elite at nothing but trolling.
On a more personal note, I'm willing to accept he's sensitive to input lag and that for him the difference is indeed unbearable. However, given the amount of money those displays cost and the absolute lack of rationality or willingness to accept a counterpoint, I'm more likely to believe he's dealing with post-purchase rationalization. I'll also admit to a bit of jealousy on my end.
As to the topic at hand, hundreds of millions of consoles sold in the past decades conclusively prove it isn't an issue for most people. And if you think console gamers aren't sensitive to timing, you've never spoken to a fighting game enthusiast.
