People have tested the peer review process by submitting hundreds of papers that were either incomprehensible or absolutely silly, and never having anyone point them out. Seems none of the professionals have any spare time to go over the stuff.

Those are the so called 'predatory journals'. Trust me, a reputable journal's peer-review process can be devastating to a scientist's hopes and dreams.

There is no substitute for considering things and thinking for yourself, instead of just accepting everything someone says, or denying everything someone says.

I agree, but when a person obviously lacks the knowledge or 'baggage' to consider things in a way that is valid, then it can be harmful. I wouldn't presume to tell an oncologist, for instance, how to treat cancers in patients as I lack the knowledge. I would much less read about tumour and cancers and suggest treatments based on my 'google knowledge'.

Cute aggression, oh yes, that phenomenon when someone aggressively hugs, smooches, or even lightly bite an object or living being that is considered "cute". We all had this happen in us before, and as for me, I prefer cute living beings over stuffed animals.

Not at all. Like I said, I am not qualified to have a say in that subject so if I should ever have cnacer, I would trust the opinion of a doctor who spent many years studying cancers. When your car breaks down you take it to a mechanic, not to the car wash and hope it'll get fixed.

the name might put a thought/image in someones head and trigger a reaction. the reaction could be positive or negative...

and i noticed alot more of the negative reaction. some people are even confused...
