There's a right CTRL key?

I wonder which key is useless on the keyboard?

Depends on the game. Games that use arrow keys for movement usually have the control key as something important and it's easy to hit.

My years of playing tibia, you used right control all the time with the arrow keys for turning your character.

I don't think it even functions in certain cases.
I distinctly remember needing to zoom in on a web page, and I had to try using the right key because I had my journal I was writing down notes to cover the left half of the keyboard.

So I tried right Ctrl and + too zoom and it didn't even work, at least that was the case in firefox.

FWIW there are some keyboard layouts that make LAlt or RAlt an "AltGr" button that functions differently from regular Alt, so the other one is then your only access to regular Alt. Not sure if a similar thing happens for Ctrl.

I wonder how much you increased the average times right ctrl is pressed per day by posting this thread.

You learn something every day, though that in a sense makes the key even more obsolete.

I use right control button to crouch in every FPS game because I find it easier to have the mouse in left hand and arrows keys to move I use the numpad for everything else
There's a right ctrl key? *shocked*
