Something is telling me that Square Enix is going bankrupt in near future...
Im not sure did Shadow of Tomb Raider floped or not,but even if it didn't, I have to be honest it didn't do well..
But the thing that makes me really think they aren't doing fine is Just cause 4,which in my theory becouse of SoTR It has worse graphics and at some point less content...

What do you think about Square enix's situation that it's facing?

It's all becouse of people buying Ea sports games (mostly Fifa) and buying those microtransactions in them...

I'm still pissed how half assed pretty much all square enix ports on mobile are. Why even release grand jrpg like dragon quest 8, if you just rush it and release it with all kinds of issues and kill immersion by taking out voice acting and orchestrated music?

Then giving middle finger for ps vita owners (even since it was released, not now when Sony killed it)

Square put more effort on their greedy f2p crap, than any of their real games on mobile.

If Square suffers, i'm glad. They dont value their work at all.

I certainly hope not because that means there won't be any FF XVI or KH 3.

Nothing really unusual. Most large videogame publishers have suffered since the summer. Investment from Tencent is good for now at least.
squeenix could buy some keys and open some loot boxes and then itll be ok

I'm pretty sure they'll be fine....just like Bethesda will be fine. Both are too big to go down easily. I'm not sure Shadow of the Tomb Raider flopped...it's got positive reviews. Just Cause (which they weren't the developer on, just the publisher) is defintely having problems, but it just came out and has time to turn around. Unfortunately if you buy a game when it just comes out, you're going to have to just have to expect a bumpy ride...that's just how it is for most games.

Besides Kingdom Hearts 3 comes out soon plus I think a new Final Fantasy comes out in 2019 as well.

I do wish Nier: Automata would go on sale.
