Blizzard's + Twitch team up seems like a good idea
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7lXvzVJKA5M

There would be no more hate speech, racism, homophobia, and general toxic behavior if all major video game platforms follow suit and maybe get youtube to do a similar scheme.

There's already♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥and♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥if people want "free speech" so we don't really need anymore of it on mainstream platforms. (imageboard websites coz apparently the censors here don't like em)

lol wtf the chan websites got censored

"Blizzard is not "forcing" its users to link their accounts to bnet. If you want to post comments on official Blizzard hosted events on Twitch, then you need to link your bnet account. If you don't want to link it then you don't have to link it."

Yes, that's essentially what forcing someone means. What you just said essentially translates to: "If you want to speak, you will do exactly as we say or you will be removed from humanity."

>Except that Google themselves admitted in doing so.

"As far as PayPal banning users, I assume you're referring to people like Alex Jones, the same guy who used a school shooting to slander its victims"

What a coincidence, why didn't they ban CNN or NYT reporters who blatantly made things up to make some people look worse than Hitler? The perfect example being articles about Pewdiepie literally being branded as a white supremacist.

"Don't use it or be a good consumer and take your money somewhere else"

You don't seem to understand the definition of the term "monopoly", do you?
Blizzard are only "forcing" people to do so on Blizzard events! Wether that will happen on other events is up for speculation.

Google might have admitted to using algorithms, but is there any concrete evidence that they are manipulating it for political gain? Is there!?

Why else did PayPal ban Alex Jones, you ask? Why are Neo-Nazi groups criminalised?

Also, you say about CNN spreading fake news. Like you said quite a lot earlier, so does Fox News. What news source do you normally use? Also, I get that the reports on PewDiePie seem targeted, but if we remove the news from the argument and focus on the targeting stage, we are slowly realising that unless we educate people on edgy jokes, those days are over. As much as we all hate to admit it.

I see why you'd want to have BossGalaga explain what a monopoly is. We all hate monopolies, and all of us are fearing that the monopolies are damaging businesses. The right wing allows this to happen. Trump's government allowed AT&T to buy Warner Brothers despite anti-trust concerns. Net Neutrality has been repealed possibly to earn more money for ISPs.

In short, the right wing never allows true competition, and being a jerk about money isn't going to help.

I cited sources, you didn't. Where did Google admit they manipulated search results for the 2016 election? Where are these CNN or NYT articles where they "made things up to make some people look worse than Hitler" and also which people?

Also, it's funny you ask mean about the definition of the term monopoly because it's clear that you don't understand it yourself. Google is not the only search engine and Youtube is not the only online video platform.

Also, here's what comes up when I type "Donald Trump is" into Google's autocomplete. I get "is president, is the president song, is my president facebook." Whew, that's some outrageous stuff right there.

CNN, NYT, BBC for example published a cut videoclip of Trump calling refugees "animals" to make him look like a Nazi.

In the full clip he was talking about a gang of human trafficers.

Enough sources? Look the rest up yourself.

At this point it shouldn't be too hard since all you gotta do is throw a dice and open any leftist or far-right newspaper/article like CNN or the Daily-Stormer... Fake news is objectively all they do and can be disproven by a 5 second internet search. In the case of Trump all you gotta do is watching a full video of any press conference.

The Twitch Chat itself is nothing but an interface for Streamers to talk to their viewers. If a streamer doesn't want to do that - Go ahead, remove them from your chat. Nothing wrong with that.

What does become a problem is if someone goes a step further and removes them from their job, revokes their rights or worse. That's the only reason Blizzard added things like that. They essentially want to remove any kind of criticism after the last time they failed at the Blizzcon, silencing and blackmailing critics or "trolls" with the safety of their Battle.net Accounts.

OBJECTION!

The BBC did say about Trump talking about MS13 gangs. He dod say "These are people, these are animals" during the same two clips. How can that be proof that the BBC edits their sources? Also, were there actual animals trying to cross the border?

Valve do this for their clients all the time by locking forums to licence owners. I don't see why Activision need to twitch their customers.

A simple look at the like-/dislike bar and the comment section is more than enough.

Originally all the video stated was "Trump calls refugees animals" and nowhere in the description did it clarify that it was about human traffic and gangs.

Don't you think the fact that they showed a contextless clip that literally starts with Trump calling refugees "animals" is proof enough? Use your brain please, you have it for a reason.

Lol, those are your smoking guns?

You're trying to claim that poor little PewDiePie is being persecuted? The same guy who paid some Indian men over the internet to hold up signs that said "death to all jews." Oh let's all shed a tear for his misunderstood "jokes." It's funny how that's what you pick to defend. At any rate, none of those articles that called out his behavior made him seem worse than someone who murdered millions of people. As far as the Daily Stormer, they claimed they were the #1 PewDiePie fansite. If you have a problem with that, then you should be registering your complaints with the Daily Stormer.

You were blathering on in your previous comments about CNN and NYT and in this entire manifesto you posted in reply, not a single link to CNN or NYT to back up those claims. And a video clip of the president calling people animals is not the same as your claim which was making him "look worse than Hitler." You're slinging hyperbole and melodrama.

Was Charlie Chaplin a Nazi for dressing as Adolf Hitler?
No, he did satire. Context is all that matters and the fact that you can't even follow simple logic already shows me that trying to have a discussion with you is like trying to explain how gravity works to a chicken.

That's probably why most people just silently watch instead of making fun of your statements. :smooch:

Chaplin was doing satire because not everyone agreed with Hitler! He wanted to make a film that had Hitler's brother make Germany better under him than it was under actual Hitler. And this was before his Imagery was banned, down to the moustache.

Michael Jordan wore a toothbrush mustashe in an advert, and people accused him of looking like Hitler. This shows that everyone knows the evil of he who should not be named in Germany.

And those "silent readers" might actually be agreeing with BossGalaga. Just a thought.
Also, do you agree with Galaga when he said you provided no sources to prove your point of fake news?
See what I mean? If you don't have valid evidence, you claims are not substantiated.

We are changing, and those who don't agree with that may risk a war.

Nep went on a big ole' rant about how CNN and NYT were making people (quote) "look worse than Hitler" and didn't provide a single link to a CNN or NYT article at all, much less anything to substantiate those claims. Then he tried to claim that PewDiePie's racial slurs and "death to all jews" was simply "satire" like Charlie Chaplain. Lol, please. PewDiePie was not channeling Charlie Chaplain.

Nep also claimed that Google manipulated the 2016 election without citing any sources either, although the original claim that originated from was a youtube channel that as I already pointed out has also reported on government officials having sex with aliens and rearing alien families.

Also, I just got a friend request from some sad little kid with a Hitler avatar on Steam, an obvious alt account whose profile says he is from Nepal. Nep (al?) has a Steam group that advertises a website from Nepal. A coincidence? Maybe. A pathetic and failed attempt to troll me? Definitely.
