There's a lot of doctors in my country and yet It's still the most respected job in my country.

Respected doesn't equal how much it pays. Being a stripper pays a lot, but it doesn't mean it's respected.

Also firefighters in general are a pretty redundant job. Most rural places use voluntary fire fighters and get along fine. Not to mention I've witnessed fire fighters in my city operate, and the few times I saw they weren't even helping anything, and in a couple cases seemed to make things worse.

You should not judge the few and assume all Firefighters are bad. Firefighters risk a lot when it comes to safety. They do more than fight fires. They help people and animals when they are trapped somewhere, they assist with Medical Units, and they can also act as Medical Units if they got their first.

Military men and women. Less than 0.5% of America’s population are part of the military. They tend to be stationed miles and miles away from their families; some across the opposite side of the world. Being away from their families tends to put them in high risks of cheating, divorce, etc. They miss holidays, birthdays and other special occasions. I remember my RDC telling a story about how he couldn’t be there for his son’s first four birthdays; it’s saddening, really. Not to mention putting their lives at risk. In all, they sacrifice a lot.
