They really love body painting.
Because they don't pay their taxes on ALL their earned income.
Nothing new really. YT and Twitch submit docs to the IRS when requested all the time for not reporting income from larger channels.
Changing this way of thinking will do yourself a world of good. Always pay yourself first and pay taxes last. The rich don't pay taxes for a reason, because if you educate yourself you realize there are legal ways in which you will not pay as much. Tax fraud is one thing which I disagree with wholeheartedly, but dodging taxes legally is the smart thing to do. The reward for thinking is you get to keep the money you've earned. If you do feel that you've earned your money then why do you feel like it's right for someone to take so much from you? Fight for it instead.
I guess what I'm trying to point out is that I don't believe this is about taxes at all. I think it's about using taxes as a way to attack a group of people that are disliked for reasons unrelated to taxes. I think that's a really cowardly, shameful, and slimy thing to do.
There's definitely some of that, but to see paying tax as some sort of a "punishment" is asinine. And by that I mean thinking you're "punishing" someone by getting them to pay tax is also asinine. But that is not the IRS' concern nor should it affect their procedure.
In fact, having to report one's income to the local tax authority should give nobody a reason to stop doing what they're doing - unless their motivation was primarily "it's tax-free money", in which case, well, tough luck.
