While you play video games on a decent PC. Not greedy cuz we all need gaming PCs to live right?
Sarcasm. I'm saying you're just as 'greedy' as OP because like having a 4K tv, gaming is just as much of a luxury.
LOL
The Sims 4 is easy playable at 4K, odyssey have FPS of 14 at 4K (so not playable at 4K)
but runs smooth and fantasitic on 1080P with settings at ultra (so why bother buying expensive videocard)
so the game or application you wanna run on 970 is requested to draw a logical conclusion.
just ask what game you wanna run and i will tell how much FPS and settings to expect at 4K
Then realised you meant the space could hold two. 🤔
Do I have to walk you through the logical reasoning? A 4K TV & a gaming PC both cost the same, literally. According to you, having a 4K TV is greedy. You don't need a 4K TV or a gaming PC to survive, they both cost a lot. Infact in order to run VR & and the best games out there minimum, a PC will cost well over $1000. A 4K TV is way cheaper. There's no difference between the two except PC gaming is generally more expensive. Pretty sure it's 'extravagant excess'. OP works a job and he can do whatever he wants with his money because he earned it, how is that a bad thing? Haha. OT is such a weird place, guess most people come here to fuel their little egos.
OP could have bought a normal TV, right? You could have bought a phone and played on that for cheap, but your greedy ass wants a gaming PC, ugh so greedy.
Your better off hitting 2560 x 1440p for a better balance.
Getting down to the point of a 970, there only good if its super overclocked and even then for 2560 x 1440p, it really needs 2 of them for high stable frame rates. So forget it for 4K realistically and if your running a single, stick to 1080p for a better balance and response.
I know its pretty to stare at 4K or even 2K if i can call it that, especially with HDR but its just not cost effective for mere mortals when you talk a rig hitting high FPS and maintaining it.
You must have a $50 Gaming PC that can't run anything or you don't know how much an actual 4K TV costs. Call me what you like though, I usually get that after destroying a troll.
