I really don't see alot of crpgs is it maybe because the mechanics are too complicated for alot of people or it could be something else?

You're dealing with the CoD generation. You expect them to play a game you can ♥♥♥♥ up in the first hour but not realize it for 20 more?

Like the red squirrel the geeks/nerds got overrun by the aggressive bigger grey squirrels the casuals.

F'k if I can even remember what a CRPG is anymore. Is it Wasteland 2 or Dead State maybe?

Seriously?
Shadowrun Returns,Avernum,Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition also come to mind.

I love and Enjoy RPG games. Hopefully more gamers will see the interest in them in the near future, i am actually getting tired of FPS games.

I played Shadowrun games they was kind of casual and lite. They didn't feel like ball breaking CRPG of old. Lords of Xulima feels more like a ball breaker of old, might be CRPG.

What's a CRPG? What does "C" stand for?

Computer. They're more tactical and usually have a lot more mutators than typical on-rails console RPGs.

I'm honest, I can play CRPGs to a certain, but after finishing one I cba to start another one tight away.

It would be nice to see more. The genre's always been starved.

I'm looking forward to jeff's geneforge remakes. Let's hope he doesn't kick the bucket between now and then.
I think it's because other genres can be beaten like cash pinatas, and a lot of people go for "pretty" things or "not dead online" things.

I can understand why some people don't like CRPGs since a lot of them tend to have overreliance on RNG and not that many people fancy the idea of having to rely on crapshoots for every action. The fact that a lot of them also have really bad user interfaces doesn't help either.

Personally the only CRPG I like is Wasteland 2.
